Studer A807 with Quadriga-Audio Archiving Installation
About Cube-Tec Quadriga-Audio
Cube-Tec Quadriga-Audio is an audio digitization system (up to 8 stereo reproducers can be connected to a single ingest system) for analog and digital audio legacy sources with comprehensive transfer quality control. In combination with high quality AD-converters – such as manufactured by RME – it offers a unique set of features and functionalities. In addition to capturing the audio stream, Quadriga-Audio provides metadata information regarding the original source medium, the capturing signal chain, the audio content and the quality of the recording, realtime quality control (QC) and playback of the recorded signal during the ingest, offering many valuable assets to the ingest operator(s) and the archivist(s).
Cube-Tec Quadriga-Audio is open to any MAM system and can easily be integrated into existing network and database structures.
This highly efficient plug-and-play installation is scalable per four (recommended) or eight stereo ingest lines per workstation and build around the famous Studer A807 recorder/reproducer. Typical tape speeds for the A807 are: 9,5/19/38cm/sec (15 – 7.5 – 3,75 ips)
Production capacity (example)
With an Installation of twelve (12) STUDER A807 reproducers and two shifts per day, around 25.000 to 30.000 program hours can be migrated per year.
