In-house modification to support the cleaning of 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch open reel magnetic tapes
All video- and audiotapes are susceptible to dropouts, loose oxide, binder residue and even fungus.

Provides important quality improvement functions:

1. Cleans tape to reduce temporary dropouts caused by loose oxide, dirt and fungus
2. Polishes tape for improved signal-to-noise ratio
3. Conditions and exercises tape for improved performance
4. Good tape reduces wear on the video and audio heads and keeps VTR‘s and ATR‘s clean!
