The Cube-Tec Quadriga-Audio cassette migration system offers a powerful solution for digitizing compact audio cassettes with detailed quality control and seamless workflow integration. When combined with RME AD converters and a Tascam tape deck, Quadriga becomes a professional-grade tool for archives working to preserve legacy audio formats.
Quadriga supports digitisation of both analog and digital sources. It provides real-time technical metadata during ingest, including:
- Average signal level
- Signal-to-noise ratio
- Azimuth and phase alignment
- Dropout detection
- Hum and interference analysis
In addition, Quadriga logs all transfer parameters, generating detailed ingest reports that archivists can store in any MAM system. The system easily integrates into existing networks and database environments.

The Cube-Tec Quadriga-Audio cassette digitisation system works best when paired with high-quality tape decks. It includes built-in support for:

This plug-and-play setup scales in blocks of 8-ingest lines and offers consistent, automated transfer performance with minimal operator intervention.
Alternatively – we have developed an in-house solution to capture 24 cassettes in parallel, using a single workstation and low cost software, enabling to ingest/migrate around 175 hours of audio per diem.
